Rich in history and beauty the shire of Greenough is a tourism attraction of its own. With the historic Greenough Hamlet as its jewel, the Shire of Greenough encompasses the Greenough River mouth, Moresby ranges, suburbs within Geraldton and a large rural area.
Located to the south of Geraldton the Greenough Flats are renowned for their highly productive agricultural land stretching into the coastal sand dunes and the leaning trees from the predominant southerly winds.
Greenough is popular with local and international tourists enjoying the cafes, historic settlement and a host of other individual tourism businesses.
